4:00 pm:  A warm welcome to stay for the Soil Sisters Green County Area Potluck -- bring a dish to pass and your dishware (plate/silverware/cup)

BONUS: All registrants receive a free copy of the book Renewing the  Countryside: WISCONSIN Stories of Sustainable Living, Working &  Playing (a $26.95 value).

Our host, Alicia Gasaway:

Alicia and her family followed their dream to trade the urban life for rural living, moving to their property in 2021, where she cultivates a food forest, practices rotational grazing, and enjoys learning about energy healing, herbal medicine, and crafting her own tea blends and integrating homeschooling two young kids. Alicia serves as a Stewardship Ambassador with the Women, Food & Agriculture Network/WFAN, sharing her conservation story. Before moving to WI, Alicia was active in food justice issues and community gardening organizing in the Twin Cities.

Come hear inspiring stories from women like you -- and meet the other Wisconsin WFAN Stewardship Ambassadors: Heather Lynch of Green Haven Gardens and Michelle Harrigan of Food Web Farms.

Women, all who identify as such, are welcome to attend – from  landowners to farmers to conservationist enthusiasts – whatever your  background, from beginners to experts!  This Learning Circle model intentionally provides ample time and a safe space for story sharing, networking and collaborative learning. We all have something to both share and learn together.

Event is fully outdoors.  Dress for the weather.  Bring a sunhat, sunscreen and good walking shoes.  Please bring a chair/camp chair.

Photos  will be taken at this event and used for educational purposes only.  If you do not wish to have your picture  taken, let us know piror.

This is intentionally a family-friendly space and you are welcome to bring your children.  Please bring some "quiet time" activities for them during the programming.
