Background for those New to Learning Circles

Different from a traditional webinar classroom format, Learning Circles honor that we, in a community of women, all have something to share and something to learn, wherever we may be on our personal journey.

We welcome sharing of experiences, resources, what worked (or didn’t) for you, challenges and opportunities -- all in a safe, welcoming space. These circles are also intended to also be a regular reminder for us all as we head into the busy spring growing season to take the time to prioritize our own care and wellness.

Learning Circle Resources

In Aging Strong In-Person Learning Circles, women farmers gather to offer each other support through sharing helpful resources and ideas about challenges unique to them. In partnership with the University of Vermont Extension, additional resources were created to support women farmers in prioritizing healthy body mechanics and mental health.
